LYNCH STABLES
We had a most interesting conversation with Mr . Bill Lynch of Slidell , Louisiana , at the Murray Farm Sale . Bill informs us that their new operation consists of a new 8 stall stable that was started this fall . Their trainer is Randy Lynch , who worked the summer of 1963 with Vic Thompson in Shelbyville , and the Jimmy Lackey Stables in Forrest , Mississippi during the summer of 1964 . Horses now in training include PRIDE ’ S RED MAN , a reliable gelding that tied reserve in the gelding class at the Celebration several years ago and SIR HENRY ’ S SUNNY GIRL , owned by Mrs . W . M . Garner of Slidell , Louisiana , who has placed well in top shows all season throughout the deep south . She won the mare class at the McComb , Mississippi , horse show .
SOCIETY ’ S PRIMA DONNA , a two year old filly owned by Mrs . Jimmy Lynch and a new filly by MIDNIGHT SECRET , recently purchased from Ray Beckler Stables , Shelbyville , are showing good promise . The Lynch Stables is small by comparison but there is plenty of room to grow in this enthusiastic Walking Horse area . Our congratulations to the Lynch Stable group . Much success in the coming year .

" WALKER TALKER " NEWS FROM OREGON
The monthly “ Walker Talker ” Bulletin of the T . W . H Exhibitors Association of Oregon relates some very interesting notes regarding Walking Horse activity in that part of the country . Of special note was the news that TOWN & COUN TRY , a show gelding of the first order , was purchased by Lew Williams of Creswell , Oregon from Hank Sheely of Dallas , Texas . Both Hank and trainer Wallace Brandon showed the fancy bay with good resuits in the Celebration . Mitzi-Lew Ranch trainer Chester Gillespie has great plans for the horse and the Walking Horse enthusiasts of the West Coast are eager to see his debut in the Pacific International .
Stake horse entries for the Pacific International are coming in strongly and by the sound of it , it will be a great show . There appears to be more interest in Walking Horses in this show this year than ever before .
DIAMOND MAGIC B , owned by Sherman Brock , of The Dalles , Oregon , was named All-Breeds Grand Champion Stallion at the Wasco County Fair . He is a three year old stallion by DIAMOND LIL MAN out of ABERDEEN LADY and was Reserve Champion Stallion at the Pacific International as a two year old . Mr . Brock , president of the OH A has been giving him some ring experience this year in several pleasure classes .
Jinx Blain , Publicity Editor for the “ Walker Talker ,” reports that interest is high and the market for Tennessee Walking Horses is very active . There are lots of inquiries for horses for sale and horses wanted in this part of the country .
