Joe won the open class Sunday afternoon and came back to win the stake class Sunday night. Judy and Joe plan to be married in December and are going to be permanent residents of Northern Kentucky. Welcome, Joe and Judy, from all the horse people in our area. We are glad to have you and will be looking forward to seeing you both on the show circuit. From Florida comes word of the activities of trainer Johnson Mc Donald of Orlando. Working a string of show horses belonging to Mr. C. At present he has about forty horses in training and has a string of seventy-five brood mares that are in an intensive breeding program.
Outstanding studs of the C. E. Bradshaw Stables are MIDNIGHT MOONGLOW, GUNSMOKE( Johnson pointed out that this was the original old GUNSMOKE, a gray stallion), GO BOY’ S BLACK RAMBLER and STERLING SIL VER. All these horses represent top blood lines and along with a few mares bred to outside studs, should produce another string of excellent colts for the Walking Horse market. Show horses wearing the Bradshaw banner are SHADOW’ S RO VER, a four year old stud that has had a good season this year, RAM BLER’ S ROOSTER, a two year old sorrel stud colt, SUN DUST HO NEY, a blue roan two year old filly, RAMBLER’ S GO GIRL, a black Junior Mare and RAMB LER’ S SUN BANDIT, a two year old colt should give Mr. McDonald a full schedule of daily activity while preparing for the 1965 season.
