Here is what a young girl thinks
of horses:
“I understand about horse fever
because I’ve had it for such a very
long time. I love horses very, very
much. I know why. I have been
loving them ever since I can re
member.
“I could have been bom with
horse fever. The feeling to be up
on a horse, is a feeling of freedom.
Especially if you love the horse and
hope he loves you. It’s a good feel
ing to know you have a ton of
muscle and power but sure it’s all
under control. I love the horse even
more if I know what the horse
needs most to make him do what
you want him to. When I’m out on
the trails cantering, I lift up my
head so I know I’m not dreaming
that I’m flying! The first time I
cantered was in the ring. It was
only for a second. But in that
second I knew I’d never give up
horses.”
