Jimmy is also very pleased over the progress of SHADOW’S DANCER owned by Chester Koon of Oakland, California and a par­ ticularly good and bold going three year old stud owned by Frank Par­ nell of Newbern, Tennessee. We saw this horse work and he has plenty to show for himself for this time of the year. SULTAN’S ROADMASTER, a Chestnut Roan five years old, owned by Bill Cherry of Henderson, Tennessee also is making good progress and should be a contender in 1964. We were very much impressed by DARK MAGIC, a black three year old stud also owned by Mr. Frank Parnell. This little horse has as good a back end on him as any three year old around. He has a natural lick with plenty of motion and is picking up his canter very well. As usual, Jimmy Waddell will be hitting the show ring gate with a string of finished horses. They all look good from here. GREEN AND HUGH A recent visit to the busy stable of Toby Green and Buddy Hugh, located on the Tullahoma Highway east of Shelbyville, Tennessee brought to our attention some of the best stock we have seen at this time of the year. As you know these two top trainers are working together but each has his own horses, however they form an ex­ cellent team and together should 'be able to produce Blue Ribbon 'results in 1964.
