10 Auctioneers For Murray Sale Named
Ten auctioneers will“ shout” their chores at the 43rd Annual Murray Farm Sale on April 18-19 at Lewisburg, says Harold Wise, owner of the property and operator of the great sale that has made Tennessee Walking History for generations.
The ten from at least five different states are: Eddie Bryant, Lewisburg; Pete Yokely, Pulaski; Dave Williams, Hickory, Pa.; Walter Clark, Friendship, Tenn.; Mayfield Ledbetter, Lewisburg; Tom Yokeley, Jackson, Tenn.; Billy Mitchell, Bowling Green, Ky.; and Herbert McLean, New Orleans, Ja.
Harold says an unprecedented offering of horses to fill every desire will be made— horses, geldings, mares in foal and also mares open— suited for show and pleasure. The sale starts each day at 10 a. m. and runs until all are satisfied.
Harold urges friends to write for the catalogue. He also invites all to ask for room reservations by phone or wire. His barn phone is 359-4940 and the residence phone is 359-1058.
