Owner Shocked As Heart Failure Kills Stallion Suddenly
A self-explanatory letter received from G . E . Greene , 7309 Exeter St ., Paramount , Calif ., reads as follows : “ Dear Mr . Green : “ Please cancel any ad that is not necessary regarding Little Society
King to appear in tne next issue or issues of the Voice as he fell dead last Saturday , Jan . 19th .
“ I have had few shocks like this one .
“ I had just brushed him and put him back in his stall , and was busy with other work and my attention was called to him . He was lying dead in his stall .
“ The autopsy showed probable heart failure .
“ King was considered one of my family as I had owned him since December , 1947 . Mr . Green , not many people can understand the grief of losing an animal but I know from reading the Voice that you do .”
