Harry C. Shipley, on Highway 190 East, Eunice, La., reports his two girls, ages 6 and 8, are pushing him into me Tennessee Walking Horse business. " Every Christmas it’ s the same story, and two disappointed girls when there is no Walking Horse under the tree,” he says.
Virgini Shirr, 6763 Capistranoway, Riverside, Cal., tells us she has admired Walking Horses a long time but a few days ago had her first chance to ride one.“ That ride lived up to all of my expectations and then some,” writes the college girl. When she becomes financially able to buy a horse there is only one breed for her— the Walking Horse.
Charlie N. Hardin, I’. O. Box 9517, El Paso, Tex., reminds us the El Paso Show is scheduled Oct. 17, 18, 19.“ Since Walking Horses are few and far between in our country, any support you could give us would be appreciated." Charlie adds.
