Association Elects
14 Vice-Presidents
Did you ever hear of an association
with one president, 14 vice-presidents,
one secretary, one treasurer, 24 other
members and a number of associate
members, including children of mem
bers?
That’s exactly what the set-up is
for the Tennessee Walking Horse
Breeders and Exhibitors’ Association
of Washington (state), an affiliate of
the Tennessee Walking Horse Breed
ers and Exhibitors’ Assn, of America,
Inc., based at Lewisburg, Tenn.
The Washington organization is
said to be one of the most effective
state groups for the Tennessee Walk
ing Horse anywhere. It meets the first
Thursday of each month at the home
of officers and directors; all members
are invited; and 23 meetings arc
scheduled in 1962. They include busi
ness sessions, socials, horse shows, trail
rides, potluck gatherings and a buffet
dinner.
