Born in Sicily 1966;
From my early experience I worked very close
with family, where my father was an artist
and my uncle a theatre director; so I was involved often between both new adventures
in drawing something for my father or help
in the theatre for the sets and costumes.
In Sicily I study graphic design, where I developed my hand drawing skills because
in these days there wasn’t computers!
Age 23 I moved to Florence to study Fashion
Design & Communication. This study helped me
to understand how to build a collection and all
the research on how to design a garment. In these
years I had a good time, winning a few fashion
competitions in Tokyo, Florence and Rome.
The prize for one competition for example was
an internship in Japan for the Kashiyama company. Soon as I arrived back in Milan I started
to work for Versace as an assistant Fashion
Designer and then the role changed as an
Assistant Visual merchandiser; I was ready to
display the collection on store/showroom.
