“One of my favorite things about the U is how many opportunities there are to get involved. No matter your personal interests, there’s a club or group on campus that shares that same passion. I’ve really enjoyed the piano performance program in particular. Every year, the piano studio performs a ‘Piano Monster Concert’ where 20 different pianos all play on stage together. This year, we performed a Star Wars medley and dressed as some of the characters. Being at the U has given me the opportunity to step outside my comfort zone and explore things I wouldn’t normally do. I’ve gotten involved in Bioengineering USAC, the American Chemistry Society, NRHH. I am even a resident advisor and research assistant at the College of Pharmacy. Your experience at the U really is tailor-made to you. Whatever effort you put in is what you’ll get back in return.“ Learn from David’s experience by exploring your interests and getting involved on campus.
