The public is fascinated by the new Warsaw Summer Theatre. We are now in 1870 in Saski Garden and Summer Theatre has been opened. In this object we will watch all the plays during the renovation of The Great Theatre. The building has been made of wood, but it can accommodate up to 940 viewers. It is marked by its great acoustic and specious scene with the size like in the Great Theatre. This building is popular with viewers. Some of them criticise it for draughts. The theatre started its activity with staging the operetta “ La belle Hellene” of Jacques Offenbach. The next performances will be in short time.

Twelve thousand people come to see "Szał" that breaks all possible forms of art and customs, in thirty six days while it was displayed on Warszawska Zachęta. However the biggest fame and popularity it has gained during its second exhibition. Its author - Władysław Podkowiński taking part in the show tries to destroy it with a knife. He cuts it without mercy. But why?
Probably its weird behavior has got its own explanation. The woman presented in the painting is his unfulfilled love. Ewa's family are protesting, against the seeing there a big similarity between painting. So maybe the author wants to get rid of it. The model and their relative Ewa.
