The Netherlands now and then
The Netherlands is a flat country with a lot of water. We have a very big population density, which is still growing. So over the years the county must expend. Below you see two pictures, left is in the 19th century. Right is nowadays.
You see that the south is now an independent country, Belgium. There also came a new province, Flevoland. Concluding the Netherlands expand but the border line stays the same.
