They forbid him to build a house, but he puts on his own.
Michał Drzymała gives encouragement in the fight for the homeland.
Podgradowic resident Michał Drzymała lives with his wife Józefa and three sons in the in a circus car. In 1904 he bought a plot of land because he wanted to build a house. Since childhood he dreamed of his own farm.
He earned well carrying brick, gravel and sand. But that's all for nothing.
Drzymała's efforts to obtain permission from the Prussian authorities to build a house were unsuccessful. Based on the laws of the Prussian Sejm of 1904 on banning Poles from establishing new farms, construction of new houses and housing estates, Drzymała does not receive a building permit.
In this situation Drzymała buys a caravan, which is 8 meters long and 2.5 meters wide by 300 marks where he lives with his wife and three children.
The Prussian authorities want to remove this car, arguing that a car is standing in one place for more than 24 hours is a home.
And what does our hero do in this situation?
He does not give up and gets an idea systematically moving car at a small distance, which gives him the argument that as a moving vehicle is not subject to the provisions of the construction law.
The Prussian authorities want to discourage Michal from living in the car. It is forbidden to burn the fire in the oven as well as fines are imposed for "concourse" around his car.
But Michał repeats - 'we do not cook in the day, let's cook at night'
He was often confused in arrest, because she did not want to supply the Prussian cash register with hard-earned brands. There are many humorous tricks that ridicule the local Prussian authorities and their gendarmes.
He was uncommon. His character is dazzled by all colors and shades of typical Polish advantages. This is a tough man, sometimes comic.
