This is not just an academic society for those in accounting and finance but is a great society for those interested in all things business regardless of your college course .
We try to strike the right balance between social and academic events . We are trying to make the society more social this year with a few more inclusive and exciting events .
The society is also there to help make starting college easier particularly for accounting and finance students by having first year events to help get to know their class and also a space to ask questions about the courses . We endeavour to help students feel included and also help them to succeed in college and beyond . We are always open to suggestions about events people want to see . Hopefully you will enjoy our events and have an amazing first year here in UCC .

AIESEC
AIESEC is one of UCC ’ s newest and most exciting societies . It is our aim to aid in the development of the leadership potential of students and gear them towards having a positive impact in society . Our Global Internship Programme is designed to give students ’ and recent graduates the opportunity to intern in a wide variety of sectors and roles around the world at some of the world ’ s top organizations . While our Global Community Development Programme is for individuals interested in travelling the world assisting on life changing projects and collaborating with NGOs to have a positive impact on society . Volunteer fields can range from sustainability , community development and education . Compared to internships , which are usually about 3-6 months long , volunteer opportunities are usually about 6-8 weeks long . If you haven ’ t been convinced yet , let it be known that AIESEC is the world ’ s largest global youth run network .
