is being held in Limerick !!!! Think you ’ ll be spending all your Monday nights bored at home ? Think again !!! Come along to our Macra Mondays meetings / events held in our usual haunt of West Wing 5 followed by our usual social afterwards . Once again this year we ’ ll be holding our Speed Dating night , A trip to the Nightmare Realm , Our Ultimate Table Quiz , Paintballing and a trip abroad plus many more events planned ! So join Macra where craic and banter are guaranteed and remember it ’ s not just for farmers !!!!

MATHS
The UCC Maths Society has celebrated its 100th year in UCC this academic year . As such a long-running society we are one of UCC ’ s oldest societies . Our society ’ s aim is to provide an opportunity to those students who study maths or who have an interest in maths to socialise with other students who are similar to them . The UCC Maths Society has organised many competitions throughout the year . Our annual Superbrain competition takes place every year . On top of this we also organise the Boole Prize , a lecturing competition that gives our students the opportunity to lecture about something which they find interesting and let their creative side come to surface .
We start off every year with the 4 Years of Maths Party , allowing the new people who joined the society to get to know the older years . This is followed by our two annual quizzes , a night at the dogs and of course , no year would be complete without the UCC Maths and Physics Ball , which is always the highlight of our year , organised in conjunction with UCC Physoc . In this year we look forward to seeing our society grow from strength to strength . Getting involved with the UCC Maths Society is very easy and we ’ re always delighted to see new faces .
