ARCHAEOLOGY
Do you like Archaeology? If you are interested in all
things to do with the past; either as a hobby, because
you love it so much or you’re studying it. Then we are
the society for you! For one, this is a great way to enjoy
all things related to archaeology. For another, it is also
a great way to meet and make friends with those who
have similar interests. We welcome everybody from all
walks of life, with an interest in the past, to join us and
come along to our events throughout the year.
We have a great year planned, in which we will be
hosting a wide range of events, including movie nights,
quizzes’ and so much more. These will be advertised
through our newsletter which will be sent out through
email and also on our Facebook page. Our biggest event
will be a weekend field trip to a number of Ireland’s most
recognisable monuments. So, make sure to keep up to
date with us if you want to come along. I hope to see you

ARCHITECTURE
Have you ever been inside a building? If so, then you
should sign up to the CCAE Architecture Society! We host
a variety of events in Copley Street, varying from socials to
our lecture series which attracts big names in architecture!
We are an academic society so we try to get to the most out
of all our facilities here in Copley Street. We look to improve
the workshops for the coming year and host workshops that
are practical world of architecture or design. Workshops
for software like Google SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop
and Rhino.

The biggest event of the year, by far, is our Architecture
Ball. We try to out do ourselves every year and next year
will be difficult as last year was our most successful ball
thus far! With a student population of 100/120 students
we sold 180 tickets to our ball last year! Why not join in
on the action next year and learn more about the world
architecture and how it can impact you, or how it already
impacts you without even knowing. Don’t forget to like our
