First Impressions First impressions are very significant to one’s reputation, even schools strive to make a good first impression. The picture below represents Shaw’s welcome to the incoming eighth and ninth graders on Big Brother Day. Big Brother Day has come and gone, and classes are in full swing, which allows the new students to gauge what Shaw is really all about. Let’s see what our new Eagles have to say about the nest!   Eighth grader Ty Livaudais appreciates the “family environment” found here on campus emphasizing the inter‐grade communication. Ty goes on to say, “It doesn’t matter if you are an eighth grader or senior, everyone is so welcoming and friendly!” Fellow eighth grader Tristen Perrin too has enjoyed his first weeks here at Shaw! He is very impressed with the food, saying “it’s just better!” Tristen went on to talk about the teachers, that they are all very supportive, as most of them make it a point to always be available, most of them offering tutoring multiple times a week! It’s great to see our new brothers are already feeling at home!
