1. Please tell us about yourself.
My name is Zi Xuan Yi and I am a freelance model. I am an
optimistic person, I love modeling and art. I have participated
into various pageant contest both in China and US. I won the
first place in the contest. After coming to US, I participated in
the New York Fashion Week 2016. I feel very proud of myself
for being part in the world famous fashion show. I hope I could
a chieve my dream being a top model in New York City.
2. How did you become involved in the modelling
industry?
I was told that I should be a model when I was in high school,
it sounded unprecedented to me, at the same time it sounded
interesting and full of challenging, so I decied to give it a try.
3. What aspects of modelling attracted you to the
profession?
I would say fashion catwalk is what I love to do as a model, in
the other hand I know to be survive in the field, I have to try
on different kind of modeling work such as print model, fitness
model and acting. I think being a model is what attracted me
the most.
4. What made you choose to work with VNB?
VNB magazine is a very professional, good reputation magazine. They take very good care of the models and gives us many
opportunities of modeling. We work like a family and I feel they
are very trustful and comfortable to work with.
5. What is your happiest memory?
It would be the moment when I finally met my mother in USA,
I have been waiting for that moment in 20 years, and it finally
came true. It was so touching and I would never forget that
moment in the rest of my life.
6. Have you ever search your name online?
As a moment we speak, I haven’t. But when the magazine release I would definitely check out my name on the net.

10. What is your favourite fitness activity?
My favorite fitness activity would have to be yoga.
11. What’s one thing you’d like to improve about
VNB magazine?
VNB is very professional, classy, and nice quality magazine. It has many collaborations with many different kind
of styles’ models, if they develop their business with more
fashion corporations, that could attract more readers and it
will get more attention from the public.
12. What is your motto?
It would be to live my dream and always optimistic, enjoy
every moment in life.
13. Who is your real life hero?
I would say my mother is my hero. She is a very kind
hearted person, she loves to help other and very hard
working. She is my role model.
14. What inspires you?
Reading book from the buddist relegion, it gives me peaceful thought and keep me motivated.
15. What is your idea of a perfect man?
Well, if you say perfect, I would say a guy that mature and
thoughtful and know how to protect me.
16. What is your idea of a perfect date?
The perfect date would have to be well. Is there a such
thing as a perfect date? Haha can I get back to you on that?
17. Where would your ideal vacation be?
My ideal vacation would be to travel to Hawaii.

7. Who is your favorite model?
Liu Wen is my favroite model, she is confident, and I love her
natural beauty. She is a few Chinese model successful in the
fashion industry in the world.
8. What types of color do you feel compliments you most
in terms of makeup and outfits?
I used to wear neutral color of makeup because it can match
most of the outfits.
9. Any advice for new/aspiring models?
My advice is simple and it would be yourself, and confident, do
not imitate other and believe in your dream.
