organizations will take turns leading the Mystery
Dinner Rides from Shawnee Cycle Plaza. Some of
the clubs include the Kansas City Vulcan Riders
(KCVRA), Eastern Kansas Tour Riders Chapter “B”
of the Gold Wing Touring Association (GWTA),
Great Plains Victory Riders Chapter of the Victory
Motorcycle Club, and Concours Owners Group
(COG). The monthly Mystery Dinner Rides are
open to any and all riders, and even non-riders are
invited to tag along.
Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 17, will be
celebrated at Shawnee Cycle Plaza with special
promotions available for veterans and active military personnel.
Shawnee Cycle Plaza in association with the
Kansas City Vulcan Riders will sponsor the annual
Ride to Silence the Stigma on Sunday, June 22 to
benefit the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Last
year a couple hundred riders participated in the
hundred-mile ride, and there was a raffle and silent
auction at Shawnee Cycle Plaza after the ride.
