As I walk home
I try to relive the
Wonderful moments
I had in the circus.
Clowns, lions, and acrobats
Are all gone now.

All the performers were
Going out of the tent.
It was sad.
Back in the real world
My car was waiting for me.
I got in my car,
Looking at the circus…
I don’t want to go.

When I came home
There was a big, fat cat
I ran inside and got a Kit Kat
I look outside and see that fat cat
Just waiting there in the night.

Crossed it, to and fro.

Traced in the shadow
An indecipherable cause.
