Message from the Division Director
On behalf of Division
G (Great) family,
I
am
honored
and delighted to
welcome you all
to 12th Division G
Annual Contest to
be held at Kenana
Hotel,
Sharafiya,
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
on 4th of March
2016.
This
contest
will bring heaps
of
excitement,
encouragement, entertainment, healthy competition,
knowledge transfer, learning, great networking and lots of fun.
Success of division contest is the only option available. What
else can I say with a great and well-selected team standing by
their division to prepare for yet another great showcase by our
contestants? Success is a journey and success of this contest
is the results of organizing committee headed by smart,
young, energetic Area 7 director TM Ramces months of hard
work, dedication and commitment to come out exceeding the
expectations of our dear members and guests.
Division contest is a fun and exciting event. I have attended
array of Area and division contest in previous years. It is the
second time I am part of the division organizing team. Last year
When Division G Governor DTM Johnny Gene Padillo entrusted
big task of leading the contest I believe success of any event
depends on the thought, efforts and leadership of the various
organizing chair. We were lucky last time and that contest
turn out to be very successful with the active participation of
toastmaster members, dignitaries and distinguished guest.

you feel angry, resentful, fearful, depressed, anxious, hopeless
- you feel bad. Your feelings are your thermometer to your
attitude and, your life is the mirror to your attitude.
Commit to Personal Discipline, Live with Purpose, Act with
Intent, Make Conscious Choices & Answering the Call to serve
are the five specific principles of personal greatness.
The potential for a life of greatness lies within each of us.
Greatness is a CHOICE. It is not a function of circumstance. It
is a matter of conscious choice and discipline. Embrace the
possibility of your personal greatness… never underestimate
your power to change your life.
To perform at a level of greatness, we need to commit to a
higher level of energy, time, and effort than most. To quote
Gandhi, “As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in
being able to remake the world, as in being able to remake
ourselves.”
Excellence is to set high standards and encourage a team
to greatness. At present I am associated with After sales
operational excellence team of Abdul Latif Jameel company
which aims at providing delightful customer experience by
transforming customer into life time friend. In toastmaster we
can achieve excellence by caring, guiding members to improve
their communication and leadership skills, helping to make
new friends, fun & providing delightful members experience.
My special appreciation goes to our District Director DTM
Abdullah Al Sharif for his untiring support, advice and
guidance which really contributed immensely for the success
of division G.
This year’s Division G leadership had faced endless challenges:
