How true when we think about the Toastmasters Programme!
Like others I also joined Toastmasters four years ago, to develop my communication
skills. I had to take up many leadership roles which came in my way. It changed my
perspective of what leadership is all about. Any title, or officer role or chairmanship is
a role to serve our members in a better way. It made me realize that in that process of
executing that role I am also developing a team of leaders.

As an Area Director, the scope has widened as well as the challenges. I am glad that I
would be able to serve members of four clubs and to inspire them and rejoice in their
achievements and to tackle their issues as their servant leader.
