Industries has created employment opportunities for people with disabilities and those who face barriers to employment . Now its new business line , Inclusive Talent Solutions , embodies that mission at work . The program , which launched a year ago , not only offers employment opportunities for people with disabilities , but also provides them with on-the-job support , ongoing training and job coaching . Likewise , PRIDE ’ s Inclusive Workforce Empowerment trainings offer companies workforce planning solutions , internal training tools , and regulatory compliance support to immediately boost and sustain inclusive employment practices .
“ When you have a more inclusive workplace , you also have better profit margins , and happier , more productive employees ,” says Matt Anderson , vice president of Inclusive Talent Solutions for PRIDE . “ People with disabilities are just as motivated to work as everyone else . They have the same professional hopes and dreams and are able to perform at a high level .”
The current trade-skills gap is predicted to leave 2.4 million positions unfilled between 2018 and 2028 . PRIDE ’ s Inclusive Talent Solutions seeks to leverage the disability workforce to fill that gap with trained , committed employees .
“ It makes good business sense , and it also makes a positive social impact ,” Anderson says . “ There ’ s a huge push for diversity and inclusion in the workforce , but what makes PRIDE unique is our ability to take organizations from inclusion awareness to inclusion success .”
Partnering with organizations like Amazon and Ingram Micro , Inclusive Talent Solutions operates nationwide . Anderson says that PRIDE ’ s partner companies have reported higher levels of retention and increases in productivity .
