12 ways to install fibre and save money | Page 8

Rule 7A Simplify installation This is a tube bundle called microducts installed into a bundle. ; the tube bundle can have 7, 12, 19 or 24 In each of the microducts we can pre-install a 2 or a 4 fibre bundle into each of them, and you can install that by directly burying it into the ground or into an existing 32 or 44 mm duct. To access an individual duct within the tube bundle, all you need to do is window cut the outer sub ducts, as shown in the photograph below. If you do not require all 24 tubes to be pre-installed with fibre, we can pre-install 30% of them; 8 tubes just to fulfil the required uptake, giving you the option to blow the fibres in the remaining 70% later if required, depending on costs associated with fibre blow. This is becoming a very popular product in Africa and in Europe and the UK. It’s a very easy-to-install product that minimises installation times, and reduces failure rate especially adapted for low cost construction techniques, especially as no blowing is required.
