Kaitlin Foreman, Madison Brown, Samantha Swainson, Dominic Webster( P) Key Interventions Used by Occupational Therapists for Preterm and Medically Fragile Infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit( NICU)- A Scoping Review The purpose of this scoping review is to highlight specialized interventions for preterm and medically fragile infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit( NICU) that face developmental challenges. Data will be found using electronic resources including occupational therapy( OT) journals, that focus on OT’ s role in promoting neurodevelopment, sensory regulation, feeding skills and parentinfant bonding. Databases will include CINAHL, PubMed, and Google Scholar. This approach seeks to examine essential OT interventions and their impact on long-term developmental outcomes for neonates. Inclusion criteria for the literature search will include studies with key terms:“ NICU,”“ interventions,”“ effective,”“ occupational therapy,” and“ evidence based.” Katelyn Swierczek, Jacob Goldshlack, James Patrick Bickel, Vincent Boyle( P) Rewiring the Young Brain- Neuroplasticity and Language Development in Pediatric Stroke Recovery- A Scoping Review The purpose of this scoping review is to explore how the developmental period influences the speed of neuroplasticity-driven language and cognitive recovery in pediatric stroke patients. Data was found using electronic resources, including occupational therapy and rehabilitation journals that focus on pediatric stroke recovery and interventions that enhance neuroplastic development. Databases include CINAHL Complete, PubMed, REHABDATA, Google Scholar, and OTSeeker. This approach ensures the inclusion of transdisciplinary practice implementations that benefit recovery. Inclusion criteria for our literature search include studies, articles, and journals. Key search terms include“ neuroplasticity,”“ critical periods,”“ language development,” and“ pediatric stroke recovery.” Araceli Trejo, Hannah Griffin, Cecelia Anthony, Cameryn Carr, Rachel Ricci( P) Mental Health and the Impact on End-of-Life Care in Occupational Therapy Practice- A Scoping Review The purpose of this scoping review is to explore the impact of meaningful occupation and engagement on the well-being of older adults in end-of-life care. An evidence-based literature review will be conducted to examine the impact of how occupational therapy interventions such as individual preferences, adaptive strategies, and therapeutic engagement aid in establishing a sense of purpose while facing this stage of life. To explore these effects, electronic literature searches of occupational therapy articles and journals published in CINAHL will be conducted to determine the mental health effects of occupational therapy in end-of-life care. 27
