WARRANTY IS VOIDED BY HOMEOWNER IF:
6.1 The monitoring system is unable to receive data from sensors for a period of 30 continuous
days. It is at Building Science Ltd’s discretion to renew the warranty after this period.
6.2 The current owner will not organise and pay for the annual soft wash. In this situation it is at
Building Science Ltd’s discretion to renew guarantee after this period.
6.3 The current owner or occupants maliciously damage the sensors.
6.4 The current owner at the time of repaint of the top-coat (expected to be years 7 after last
coating) decides against re-coating for any reason. In this situation it is at Building Science Ltd’s
discretion to renew guarantee after this period but only when the new elastomeric top coats are
applied
6.5 Annual soft wash is not performed in any 12 month period, after the purchase of the property
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE OWNER OR A NEW OWNER, CAN NOT
AFFORD WIFI CONNECTIONS?
If a new owner can not afford or chooses not to use an internet connection, the warranty for the
system will cease, until such times the connection can be restored.
The owner will contact Building Science ltd, to notify Building Science Ltd, the home is being
sold, to allow Building Science Ltd to make contact with the new owner to explain the Building
Science Ltd guarantee.
This guarantee is not making a statement to whether there is, or is not damaged or decayed
timber in a home, or even whether there has been historical moisture entry.in the past. The
purpose of this guarantee is to protect the owner going forward after settlement to address any
moisture issues in the external wall cladding or decks that might arise.after purchase.
