FIRM CELEBRATES NEW GROWTH

Founded by Howard Perkins in 1984 , Perkins , Williams & Cotterill , Inc . Architects has now been serving California for 35 years . This full-service architectural firm is guided by Brian Williams and Roy Cotterill , business partners for more than 20 years . The two are proud to welcome long-time employee Jason Voorhees as a new principal this month .
Voorhees joined the firm in 2003 and worked his way up to job captain and later project manager . He then passed his architectural registration exams and became an architect . “ I ’ m excited to be a part of this next chapter at PWC and I look forward to growing the company while continuing to provide a high level of service to our existing clients ,” he says .
The firm works on many types of projects with office , retail , industrial and commercial interiors at the core of their work . While much of their work is in the Sacramento area , they serve clients throughout California and the western states . “ We are a client-centered firm and pride ourselves in being stewards of our client ’ s resources ,” Brian Williams says . “ We are competitive on fees and strive for fast turn-around times .”
Becoming an S-Corporation was the next logical step in the firm ’ s growth . Though more complex than a partnership , this corporate structure offers more flexibility when it comes to legacy planning as well as transitioning new talent into the company in the future .
