The A . J . at The Railyards : Transforming Downtown
Once home to the artisans and craftspeople who built the transcontinental railroad , The Railyards in downtown Sacramento is being reimagined as a modern-day hub of culture , entrepreneurship and innovation . This vision is perhaps most embodied in The A . J ., the first residential project to break ground in The Railyards . The mixed-income development , led by The Railyards ’ developer Downtown Railyard Venture and USA Properties Fund , will begin pre-leasing in Fall 2022 .

Situated on 2.89 acres on the southeast corner of 6th Street and Railyards Boulevard , The A . J . will offer immediate access to light rail and bus , an abundance of parking and more than 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail with a mix of neighborhoodserving tenants .
The A . J . is also within walking distance of other planned developments at The Railyards , including a Major League Soccer stadium , Kaiser Medical Campus , dining , entertainment and the Central Shops District .
