Powerhouse Science Center ’ s new name unveiling
Representatives from the Powerhouse Science Center museum , the City of Sacramento and SMUD announced the museum ’ s new name Sept . 17 : SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity . The museum , located along the Sacramento riverfront , is still under construction and is expected to be completed later this year or early in 2021 . The partnership will put SMUD ’ s name on the museum for 20 years . Photos by Tia Gemmell
