Promontory Community Park
This park , featuring the only lighted sports complex in the region , is a popular destination for all ages . With a dedicated girls softball field and the only synthetic field among the El Dorado Hills Community Services District ’ s 28 parks , Promontory offers year-round play for youth soccer , lacrosse and flag football , says Mike Cottrell , recreation director for the CSD . Lighted tennis courts allow for nighttime games and four lighted bocce ball courts serve more than 400 members of the CSD ’ s bocce ball leagues that cater to older adults . Enjoy the covered picnic area and BBQ and the pavilion center that is available to rent for special events , and don ’ t miss the parks ’ two playgrounds and sprayground — highlights among children and families .
