Awards were presented to the following staff in recognition of their service in 2018 at the Campus Services Staff Workshop
held on Tuesday 16 October 2017.

Excellence and Sustained
Service Award – David Sternes Outstanding Contribution
Award – Scott Nicholson
In recognition of David’s excellent and sustained service as
Contracts Officer and more broadly within the Campus
Services team environment. In recognition of Scott’s outstanding performance in the
execution of project management services for the Springfield
Library refurbishment project.
Since appointment to the newly created Contracts Officer
role, David has developed a significant understanding of
contract law and general contract management, whilst also
engaging in a diverse range of inter-departmental projects. This project represented a significant success in terms of Scott’s
professional development. The project was high profile with
significant operational delivery challenges. Scott managed
these complexities whilst maintaining the confidence of
various stakeholders and delivering a high quality project
outcome.
Throughout, David has worked to a high standard and
enhanced the professional outputs of Campus Services.
David demonstrates the USQ values of Repsect, Integrity and
Excellent on a daily basis.
