This research-based multimedia series introduces the issue and provides opportunities for deeper considerations . In this project , you will learn about the variety of practices of faith and religion , and how they help individuals live through nonviolence , promote nonviolence to others , and create nonviolent communities . Potential primary research sources include regional professionals , directors and clergy working in faith settings : churches , synagogues , mosques with a focus on initiatives , methods , and events for communities .
Jack Duffey ( In ) Non-violence Within Colleges Through secondary and primary research , this DigCom Capstone project explores connections between nonviolence and colleges , connecting GMercyU Critical Concerns to contemporary issues and regional organizations . This research-based multimedia series introduces the issue and provides opportunities for deeper considerations . University trends – including courses , majors , institutes , student clubs and speakers – as strategies to explore and promote non-violence within their community will be considered . Potential primary research sources include directors of related nonprofits and university institutes , staff , and faculty .
Darius Ellis ( In ) Exploring Impact of Nonviolence through Children Through secondary and primary research , this Dig Com Capstone project explores connections between nonviolence and addressing the impact of violence on children , connecting GMercyU Critical Concerns to contemporary issues and regional organizations . This research-based multimedia series introduces the issue and provides opportunities for deeper considerations . The reason I chose to research the impact of violence on children and community responses to violence , is because parents lose their loved ones due to gun violence . Potential research sources include regional non-violence organizations , city council members , regional / local experts .
