Anh Phoong : The Woman Behind the Billboard

Many Californians know the injury lawyer Anh Phoong from her billboards , bus ads and commercials , and especially from her catchy slogan , “ Something wrong ? Call Anh Phoong !” Phoong , who grew up in Antelope and graduated from Sacramento State , started her personal injury law firm in 2012 and now has nearly 50 employees at four offices in the Capital Region and the Bay Area . All of this is a lot to take in for a woman who almost didn ’ t qualify for law school .

The University of the Pacific ’ s campuses in Stockton , Sacramento and San Francisco have fully reopened with in-person classes , events and activities . We spoke to President Christopher Callahan and other Pacific leaders about the work it took to get back to campus , including a rigorous COVID-19 vaccination campaign and quarantine protocol , and the efforts underway to reach Callahan ’ s goal of making Pacific “ the very best student-centric comprehensive university in the country .”
