Carmen Perrotta , 55 , went to rest with the lord on Wednesday , October 5 , 2022 at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia , PA .
Carmen was born at Our Lady Lourdes Hospital on April 11 , 1967 to Carmen Perrotta Sr . and Phyllis ( Marinella ) Perrotta and was one of five children . He was a lifelong resident of Hammonton and graduated from Hammonton High school in 1985 . He was an accomplished powerlifter winning many awards and titles . His most honorable accomplishment was when he represented the United States of America ’ s world powerlifting team in Lima , Peru . He loved spending time with his family and friends especially at Oceanside Gym . Carmen loved and cherished the company of his pets throughout the years . He was an entrepreneur founding many companies , but his most memorable company was Oceanside Medical in collaboration with his father ( Carmen Perrotta Sr .). His most recent passion in business was forming Oceanside Trucking . No matter the obstacles that hit him through his years of powerlifting , to days as a businessman his passion for success is what never made him give up .
Carmen is survived by his brothers , Vincent Perrotta ( Donna ), John Perrotta ( Rosa ), Michael Perrotta ; his sister , Michelle Perrotta ; and his girlfriend , Vickie Clark . He is the nephew to Jack and Sandra Marinella and a loving uncle to John Perrotta Jr . He is also a cousin and friend to many .
Family and friends were invited to his Mass of Christian Burial , Tuesday , October 11 , 2022 at 10 a . m . at St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish-St . Joseph Church , the corner of French and Third St . Hammonton , NJ 08037 . Entombment followed in Greenmount Cemetery 124 S . First Rd . Hammonton , NJ . George L . Eastland
George L . Eastland , 77 , of Hammonton , N . J . and formerly of Pittsburgh , Pa . passed away Friday October 7 , 2022 surrounded by his loving family . George was born and raised in Pittsburgh , Pa . and lived in Hammonton , N . J . for the last 12 years . He studied engineering and design at Allegheny Community College and worked as a design draftsman for many years . He was also a former Assistant Fire Chief for the Wilkins Township Volunteer Fire Company # 3 in East Pittsburgh , PA . George loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and was proud of his hometown . George ’ s commitment to his family was his top priority , and he devoted his life to them .
George is predeceased by his parents , William and Margaret Eastland ; his brother , William Eastland ; and his sister , Joan Bradshaw . He is survived by his loving wife , Margaret “ Peg ” ( Byrne ) Eastland ; his sons , Kevin Eastland ( Chrystal ), Keith Eastland ( Melissa ); and his daughter , Kelly Donio ( Jim ); also his sister , Kathy Collins ( Steve ). Loving grandfather of Andrew , Kasey , Maggie , Craig , and Ryan Eastland , and Matthew , Juliet and Amelia Donio . Special thanks to George ’ s brother-in-law , Dan Byrne for care provided during his time of need .

HAMMONTON — A woman who was attempting to enter the rear of a residence on the 500 block of Bellevue Avenue was arrested at 9:47 p . m . on September 26 , Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel said .
Officer Dalton Verderame responded to a residence on the 500 block of Bellevue Avenue where an individual was trying to enter the rear of a residence , Friel said .
Police responded and found
Donna Darpino , 64 , of Hammonton , had an active warrant from Camden in the amount of $ 750 , Friel said .
Darpino was found to be in possession of multiple Xanax pills in her purse , Friel said .
She was transported to police headquarters for processing , charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance and released pending a court appearance in Hammonton Joint Municipal Court and a new court date on the Camden warrant , Friel said .

Harry Richard Shockey
Harry Richard Shockey , 91 , passed away Friday , October 7 , 2022 at Juniper Village in Williamstown , N . J . with his loving family by his side . Harry was born in Atlantic City , N . J . and graduated from Hammonton High School . He went on to serve in the U . S . Navy . After that , he fell in love and married His beloved “ Joanie ”. Harry was a Toll Testman for Bell Telephone in the Hammonton Office for over 40 years and was a member of the M . B . Taylor Masonic Lodge # 141 of Hammonton , N . J . With a love for the outdoors , you could find him playing tennis on Sundays at the High School with his friends , skiing down his favorite mountain , or playing golf on local courses . Harry was a devoted father and husband who was always full of love and laughter . He was usually described as “ ornery ”, and Joan was nicknamed “ Saint Joan ” for always putting up with his antics .
He is predeceased by his daughter , Mary Ellen ; parents , Robert and Elsie ; brother , Robert ; and his sister , June Link . He is survived by his loving wife , Joan Elizabeth ( nee Kier ); children , Wayne Shockey ( Cheryl ) of Hammonton , N . J ., Diane Curatola ( Robert ) of Hammonton , N . J ., Beverly Shockey of Hammonton , N . J . and Julie Misita ( Michael ) of Williamstown , N . J . He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren , Brandon ( Nicole ) and Nicole Curatola , Eric ( Anna ) and Brian Shockey and Michael and Matthew Misita .
