Sweet Corn Serenade
The Sweet Corn Serenade feels like an old-fashioned , small community get-together each July . The event brings 3,000 people to downtown Oskaloosa for thousands of ears of roasted sweet corn and live music . A pie baking contest is held , and there are games and activities for the kids .
