Dispelling a tiresome myth

southeast Iowa being “boring”
wrong for years. We feel this
publication is proof of that.
The news staffs at the Ottumwa
Courier, Oskaloosa Herald,
Centerville Daily Iowegian,
Pella Chronicle and Knoxville
Journal-Express have been
working together to bring you a
well-rounded list of options for
all tastes and interests. It has
been one of our goals over the One caveat with the 2020
edition: Our deadlines hit right
when the COVID-19 outbreak
and following social distancing
protocols went into place in
Iowa. Therefore, we urge you,
our readers, to check each
individual event to ensure
it hasn’t been postponed
or canceled due to said
precautions. This is particularly
true for the late spring and early
summer events. Any dates listed
were those set before the crisis
