The Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra has a mission
to promote quality orchestral experiences by providing
live performances, educational opportunities and rural
outreach programs. Most events are held in three
locations: Burlington, Ottumwa and Mt. Pleasant and
their surrounding communities. Annually, SEISO hosts an
artist in residence as well as the Young Artist Competition.
Concert for a Cause has become an annual tradition as
well, with proceeds from the event benefitting a designated

SCulPTurE Tour
Fine Arts and Cultural Events of Mahaska County first
created the sculpture tour around Oskaloosa in 2017. Each
year, the sculptures on display have been updated with new
sculptures from artists in the community and beyond.
