Fairfield First Fridays

As the name suggests, art and community events are
held through Fairfield the first Friday of each month. The
organization aims to celebrate creativity, culture and
community with its events. What began in 2002 morphed
into Fairfield 1st Fridays Art Walk and was recently changed
to Fairfield First Fridays to focus more on community

George Daily Auditorium
George Daily Auditorium is a space for school theatre and
music performances, community events, professional and
local theatre productions, presentations and much more.
Nearly 700 people can be seated in the house. George Daily
Auditorium is located at 1800 N. Third St., Oskaloosa.

Ottumwa Area Community
Chorus
This vocal group, comprised of children and adults from
the area, holds its annual concert in November. Members
of the chorus, however, stay busy throughout the year by
giving six to eight performances annually, including with
the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra and the Ottumwa
Municipal Band. Membership for the 2019 fall concert was
at 75, and the choir is directed by Dr. Christine Bergan.
