It’s held each January at Bridge View Center. 51. 50 ChoColATE lovErS This annual gala, held each February around Valentine’s Day, raises funds for American Home Finding Association. Enjoy live music, hors d’oeuveres, a silent auction and, of course, chocolate. 53. holiDAy niGhTS ’n liGhTS Travel through Ottumwa Park and take in a mile of lighted holiday decorations. Hosted annually by Greater Ottumwa Partners in Progress and various sponsors, this holiday extravaganza is a favorite, drawing visitors from several counties. Volunteers man the ticket booth, and the organizations they represent are rewarded with a portion of the proceeds. The lights come on mid-November and stay lit through Christmas.
