Ottumwa’s water park features a variety of experiences.
During the summer months, enjoy three slides, a wave pool,
sand volleyball and a kids’ area. The year-round indoor pool
offers a slide, a shallow pool and a competitive indoor pool.
You can also try your hands — or feet — on the inflatable
obstacle course. The park covers 13 acres along the Des
Moines River.

Wapello County is home to a number of disc golf courses,
including at the American Gothic House Visitors Center in
Eldon, Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, and
Memorial and Wildwood parks in Ottumwa. Lake Fisher Disc
Golf Course is located west of Bloomfield in Davis County.
