Bournemouth covers’ band
Spiderpig enjoyed the busiest
dance floor of the night, treating
the audience to renditions of the
Hives, Arctic Monkeys, Pearl Jam
and more.
One of the area’s most popular
covers bands pushed all the right
buttons and raised the pulse of
all those in the hall.
Rounding things off were The Good Time Charlies from Portsmouth.
Playing garage punk n rock n roll, they really are an excellent live band.
Personally it was nice to see a band doing their own stuff, with style and
attitude. They’ve played in Salisbury a few times now, and will certainly
be back. Do check them out.
It certainly did prove an Eclectic Mix and the feedback both on the night,
in the local papers and on the social media sites has been really positive.
All in all a good night, a decent crowd considering there were a number
of alternative attractions in town, as well as a continuation of the
horrendous weather which made even getting to the venue a challenge.
A big thank you to all those concerned and remember the next part of
the Eclectic Mix, Good Friday 18th April 2014 at Salisbury Rugby Club.
