In 2013, Crimz decided to make the foray into the realm of professional battling, taking on opponents such as Mo Mula, Boy Trill, Phatz, Remedy Loco and Timeless. Beyond battling, Crimz also shoots video for popular battle rap vlogger QueenzFlip and is a recording artist, currently working on an EP entitled “Crimz M.A.D (Music And Drugs)”. According to Crimz, his battle rap goals align with three simple objectives: views, recognition and respect. Brooklyn-born Black Inc. began battling in high school lunchrooms, where beats we’re constructed from the stomping of the feet and banging of the lunchroom tables; a competitive environment where young, emerging lyricists vie for respect and bragging rights. Never one to stray far from his roots, Black Inc. still revels in a fierce sense of competition. Black inc. made his professional debut at the first-ever Counselor Presents 16 Bars Battle Rap League competition, and has since battled the likes of Zo Green, Black Beard, Barz Mcvay and HollaLuyah Jonez.
