battles on YouTube, but they
never expected to see American
battlers on African soil, so they
were tripping out when we
finally showed up, and luckily,
we all had good performances.
The hip-hop scene out there is
very reminiscent of the early
‘90s hip hop scene out there, so
the battlers are very focused on
lyricism. It was crazy to watch
some of the up-and-coming
battlers go at it and notice how
intricate their pen games were.

Grimes though, he runs the
league Scrambles 4 Money and
went above and beyond for us;
and shoutout to my opponent
out there Pava Guns, the big
homie Tumi, Illite MC, Kadence,
Cerebro, Yugen Blakrok, Lesego,
The Photocop, and anyone else I
forgot from out there.

n***as been asking me to do
for years is finally going down
on September 27th. J-Pro and
I are going to battle in LA for
KOTD. The good news is, it ain’t
gonna be at a big event where
we have to use mics and s**t. It’s
gonna be at an outdoor BBQ

These smaller type of battles are
more my style and remind me
of Jungle battles, when s**t was
all fun. Other than that, I don’t
plan to battle again this year
unless it’s in another country or
for a KOTD at the end of the
year.
