Nina: We most definitely want
that two-on-two against any
worthy opponents willing to die.
We won’t lose. As far my other
half, hell yeah; we would do a
[battle] against another couple.
AndtwonDaDon: What would
you say your goals are as an artist;
is it just battle rap or do you have
music coming? Do you model
or act? Every artist seems to have
other endeavors that they are apart
of.
Nina Cruzae: I do want to
complete a mixtape or two;
maybe three. I love music, so its
only right. I don’t model. I’m too
old for that s**t. (Nina laughs)
Not all my endeavors circle
around the arts. I do love school.

I would like to return [to school]
after a few ring battles to get my
Bachelors, then come back.
AndtwonDaDon: There is one
last question I would like to ask.
When a female battle rapper is
involved with another battler
rapper it’s often assumed that he’s
writing lines for her. Do you get
help with your bars and what do
you think of the ghostwriting
situation?
Nina: Well, just to clarify my
end, I do not use any type of
help. I believe if someone needs
help, they shouldn’t be in this
type of field; it’s about natural
talents . I am surrounded by a
whole team. A very strong one.
Everyone writes for self. We spar
together to prepare correctly
after we write. I don’t condone
help given to females or males.
As far as artists who do not use
the pen to create their rounds,
it amazes me, because Carter
doesn’t use a pen at all; he
remembers all his s**t. I can’t do
that; I write my rounds over and
over to remember.
AndtwonDaDon: Well, thank
you for the interview. You have
to come back after you catch that
battle in your ring debut.
Nina: Facts, son. You know I’m
down.
