Profecy: Y-Not, this is all you.
Although I don’t own any
parts of the clothing line, I am
TASTE; you’ll see me rocking it
in music videos, battles, and at
the corner store. In the future, I
will definitely be involved in the
business side, but for now, I’m
here for support! www.tastelyfe.

Y-Not: The name TASTE — Take
A Second To Exhale — came
from my business partner JJ
Morais. He was working with
another clothing company and
I was getting ready to start my
own under a different name
when we linked up. We realized
we could do better as a team on
one project that we controlled
than to work separately with
different ideas. Once we got our
licensing and trademark, it was
a go. We have thrown a very
successful sneaker convention
last year and are doing some
awesome commercials. We also
signed on an authorized dealer
in KG The Poet, who is now
representing our team along
with all of P7AGUE and a few
other surprises we have in store
coming up. We’re about to
release a new collection in a few
weeks, along with launching the
new website design which will
drop Monday, April 21.
Profecy: P7AGUE life til’ the
grave site. Tastelyfe or hate life.
Vader: Describe the style of
TASTE and what we can expect
from the new collection.
Y-Not: TASTE is a streetwear
clothing line that provides limited
edition clothing for men, women
and even children. It is for people
who are not afraid to be different
and like to have meaning to their
fashion. The new collection is our
Live/Evil collection. It will have
multiple releases with the first one
dropping in a few weeks and will
display designs that shed light on
the everyday fight we have with
being good or bad. The Live/Evil
Collection will be available in
three color choices. We will also
release something for the ladies in
the form of a spring tank top with
our TASTE signature across the
front of the tank, along with some
new hats for the people.
Profecy: It’s great fabric too; not
cheap Walmart shirts — just
throwing that out there. (Profecy
laughs)
Y-Not: Yes, we use 100 percent
ring spun cotton and only the
highest quality printers.
Y-Not and Profecy are two
businessmen headed in the right
direction, on and off of the stage. I
asked what battlers they each draw
inspiration from and both named
heavy hitters like KG the Poet, 'VФ
