(AndtwonDaDon laughs) My question is, how important is your preparation for a battle as it relates to your physical appearance and what fragrances do you wear? Ms.Miami: When I started battling, I didn’t put much thought into my appearance. I always make sure my hair is done — both on- and off-camera — but I just wore whatever I thought was comfy and cute. Now I always premeditate on what look I’m going for. Those YouTube comments can be brutal, so I have to be extra on-point. I like designers, but I can also get a quick inexpensive outfit and rock it like its Versace. (Miami laughs) I’m going for the sexy, cool look these days. I won’t be dressed for the club, but I want [fans] to see that I can be sexy. I believe that what you bring to the audience, as far as talent, is way more important than appearance. Some artists look amazing but their performance and everything else is a hot mess. So looking good along with rapping well is great. Hygiene is extremely important to me, especially when I have a battle. You can’t be aggressive — all up in someone’s face — and you have body odor or bad breath. That’s so offensive! I am a lipstick addict and perfume fanatic. I love Burberry Body, Versace Bright Crystals, D&G Rose The One and D&G Light Blue are some of my favorites; 24
