Novie Blendz: That’s interesting. I
guess he assumed that he would be
battling the same person.
Nuff Said: I don’t know, but he
got cooked both times!
Novie Blendz: A lot of people
continue to compare you to your
brother Danja Zone. What is one
major difference between you two?
Nuff Said: First off, the
comparison is unfair — for
the simple fact that we have
different styles. My brother
is more intricate and I am
more straightforward; that’s it,
honestly. I think the only other
person who understands my
position in battle rap is Lance,
Lotta Zay’s brother. Even though
especially when we’re out and get
recognized.
Novie Blendz: At least the two of
you don’t allow that to have you
both at odds. Is that one of the
key things that keeps MBK solid
as a crew?
Nuff Said: Yes. MBK is centered
around the concept that no one
is bigger than the squad. We’re
family in and out of the ring. We
all strive to represent and put
on for a place that no one knew
about a couple of years ago —
and that’s PG County.
Novie Blendz: You all are holding
it down for yourselves and your
city. If the fans or readers want to
know more about MBK, they can
go back and check out the “Who
you agree or disagree? Why or why
not?
Nuff Said: Honestly I disagree,
because I don’t know if folks get
everything within the schemes;
if they did, it would hit harder.
I can’t please everyone. Some
folks feel like I’m killing and
punching folks’ lights out and
some say the feel of it takes away
from the punch. I guess it just
depends on the listener.
So I will retract my answer
and say, “I can see your point,
whether you agree or disagree.”
I like my bars, so I personally
disagree. I do understand how
some may agree. (Nuff Said
laughs) I just gave you three
answers; you can pick one.
“Fans need to know that I don’t do what
my brother does.” — Nuff Said
we are brothers, we are two
different people. Fans need to
know that I don’t do what my
brother does.
Novie Blendz: Exactly! It’s like
you two are to battle rap what the
Mannings are to the NFL. Both of
you are in the same sport/business,
but have completely different
approaches and styles.
Nuff Said: Exactly, and I feel
that I am good as well, but fans
need to view me in my own
light. I have put in enough
work to be respected and
viewed as Nuff Said and not just
“Danja’s brother”. Zone and
I clown about it all the time,

You With?” section in issue five of
100 Bars Magazine.
Nuff Said: Most definitely. We’re
making moves. We are a very
formidable team. We’re looking
for a dope female to add to the
squad.
Novie Blendz: There are a lot of
females out here doing their thing
with battling and rapping.
Nuff Said: Well send the
applications in, ladies!
Novie Blendz: It’s been said that
one similarity between you and
Danja is the scheme aspect in your
material. It’s great, but it has a
slow buildup to a punch line. Do
Novie Blendz: Well, I think I will
let the fans and readers decide
which of the three answers they
agree with. Most people assume
that a lot of up-and-coming
battlers just started yesterday.
What is one thing you want
people to be sure they know about
some of you up-and-comers?
Nuff Said: Well, by the time you
hear about most of us is when
we have already put in years of
work. I’m going into year three
of my battling career. We work
on our craft until we get to the
point that we are good enough
to grab folk’s attention. If you
watch my earlier battles, you get
