of that have a ranking system and a tournament based on the rank at year’s-end. With that being said, we hold tryout events twice a year to look for new taleent. If anyone is in the Memphis Area, simply come to any event and sign up. If you ae unable to attend an event, shoot us an email at ironmouth901@ gmail.com. AndtwonDadon: Everyone seems to be starting a battle league, what makes IMBL unique? AC Dutch: This is very true. The main thing that separates us from other leagues is our pool of talent. We are not flying in the stars you already know of. We are showing love to our own region of stars by creating the platform for them to shine. Aside from that, they way we film our battles is different. The ending of our battles consists of bars from the battle. I have never seen it done before. We are also about to implement the first ever “battler cam” of any league. On all future IMBL battles, the viewer will be able to feel what it’s like inside of the ring, with our new battler-cam technique. I can’t wait to roll that out for our April 5, 2014 anniversary. Make sure you check out www.ironmouth901.com to see how that looks like. AndtwonDadon: See? Now tell me the South ain’t on their s**t! (AndtwonDadon laughs) AC Dutch: (AC Dutch laughs) We also held our very own IMBL Awards show that I mentioned earlier. We wanted to shed some light on the work that our Iron Men and Iron Women have put in on the battlefield, but we were also able to have some performances from our battlers; another platform for them to showcase the music they are putting out. AndtwonDadon: So not only do the artists get to battle, but there is also a lane for artists to get their music out through. This is what I mean when I say “branding” and “being creative in your business”. You are definitely doing so. AC Dutch: Thanks, man. It is a true team effort. My day-one business partner, K-Wine is a major factor in how we do our thing. We also have a lot of love being shown from our city and in the Iron Mouth Battle League group on Facebook. Check out the battles at www. ironmouth901.com. We are also the first battle league to have a “gesture”. It is the “#hom” or “hand over mouth”. If you or anyone you know wants to get in the ring, email ironmouth901@ gmail.com. We also have a weekly radio show called “On The Line with K-Wine”. That show is hosted by my business partner K-Wine and comes on every Thursday at 9:11 p.m. — Memphis time. There is never a dull moment and it is a great place to catch up on what’s new, what’s next and what’s poppin’ with the Iron Mouth platform. 23
