da souf got sumthang 2 say pt.2 ac dutch k-wine iron mouth battle league Memphis 10   Last month, 100 Bars Magazine took you through a short tour of the South. We interviewed battle rappers from Louisiana and Texas, but these two aren’t the only states from the South that have undeniable talent. Memphis, Tennessee — better known as “Memp 10” — has a phenomenal battle rap movement. Though this movement is still in the process of gaining notoriety, we can assure you that the unity these battle rappers have with one another is one of the strongest we have seen, and 100 Bars was privileged 20 enough to gain that insight. In this month’s installment of “Da South Got Sum Thang 2 Say”, we want to introduce a fairly new league with a plethora of potential. AC Dutch is the founder and CEO of Iron Mouth Battle League, residing in Memphis, Tennessee. In just little over a year, this league has created opportunities for up-and-coming rappers to express their art in the form of battle rap and music. Not only will we hear from AC, but we get an exclusive interview from his Iron Woman, Almen Joy and Iron Man, Yella Mane, as these two get ready to prepare for one of the biggest battles in their respective careers, “Yella Mane vs. QP” and “Almenjoi vs. Lady QP”. AndtwonDadon: Before I start off, I just want to say that as a native South Floridian, I am happy to know that we are taking the steps that we need to put our States on the map for battle rap. Sometimes Southerners catch on to trends and fads a little late, but when we do find out what’s poppin’, we grab hold to it and master it. With that being said, could you tell me how Iron Mouth Battle League was started; how were you inspired to birth this league?
