“I’m recording from a different angle to showcase
my overall writing and musical talent, and people are
going to realize that I’m an artist at the end of the
day-NOT A RAPPER.” And throughout the CD,
Cortez goes to town — killing all 12 tracks, exhibiting
his showcase of different musical styles....shutting his
critics down.
“You know what to do, take those panties off.
Don’t be acting new. Two at a time, call it deja vu.”
PANTIES DROP. Explicit song? YES, but yet exotic
and sexy. All I can say is, “the ladies love Cortez.”
So many thoughts for the inquisitive imagination.
HUMMMMMM, a different side of Cortez.

Besides all the trials and tribulations Cortez has been
through, surrounding the whole music scene, most of
his life, he still remained “A Real N***a All Day.”
“I’m connected with Carlos, a couple stashed in da

Despite the bad stigma about battle rappers not being
able to make music, “They say I’m the next, so respect
it, I’m the Exception.”
Cortez has done it again with another release
of his 3rd mixtape with nothing but RAW,
EXTRAVAGANT BARS. The mixtape features
popular artists like Oun P, D Chambers, and several
up-and-coming artists. If one was looking for a CD
with supreme, crisp lyrics, with a multitude of bars
and banging beats, this one is right on the money.
